Excited to be reading a short extract of my novel at the next Novel Nights in Bristol, on the 24th July 2017. This a rare chance to hear how the novel is shaping up. I’m hoping it will catch the imagination.

The main reader is Dan Jeffries who will be talking about his novel and the process he went through in publishing it, which I am sure will appeal to readers and writers alike. I’ve seen him speak in Weston-Super-Mare and he’s well worth listening to.

I will be reading my short story ‘Black Planet’ which has previously been published in Wordland here on 28 July. Indpendent Spirit¬†is a fine venue in Bath which has a superb range of alcoholic drinks particularly beer and it promises to be an enjoyable evening of storytelling.

My contributor copy of Wordland 6: Black is the New Black arrived today and it is looking good. Some well-needed literary darkness in the Xmas season!
Edited by Terry Grimwood, Wordland 6 includes poetry by my fellow Clockhouse London Writers Allen Ashley and Sarah Doyle, and short fiction by David Turnbull.
Includes my story Black Planet which gave me nightmares when I wrote it.
Looking forward to settling down and reading the whole issue now…
