My contributor copy of Wordland 6: Black is the New Black arrived today and it is looking good. Some well-needed literary darkness in the Xmas season!
Edited by Terry Grimwood, Wordland 6 includes poetry by my fellow Clockhouse London Writers Allen Ashley and Sarah Doyle, and short fiction by David Turnbull.
Includes my story Black Planet which gave me nightmares when I wrote it.
Looking forward to settling down and reading the whole issue now…

This is a collaborative piece of writing I was involved in, as part of the Clockhouse London Writers: Allen Ashley, Madeleine Beresford, Gary Budgen, Nick Wood, David Turnbull, and Sandra Unerman.  This was a lot of fun.  Basically it’s a technique pioneered by the Surrealists, it’s just like when you play that game where someone draws a head, folds over the paper, passes it to the next person who draws the body, and so on…
